The story of swine flu marks
another fiasco in the world of
health and medicine. You have
to understand all that surrounds
the politics, power, and money
in an epidemic. Remember the
Avian Bird Flu pandemic? I
spoke and wrote about this
when it first broke and told you
it would be gone in a few years.
It is. I knew there would be
another scare—there always is—
but I never thought it would be
so soon.
